Technology, Innovation and Design Experience Summer Camp - TIDE@CSUMB 2018
The Technology, Innovation and Design Experience (TIDE) Summer Camp at California State University Monterey Bay is a two-week program designed for students in grades 9-12 who are looking for an engaging summer activity in Monterey Bay area.

Welcome to our summer technology and innovation program at California State University Monterey Bay. CSUMB campus is on the beautiful central coast of California, where is just two hours south of San Francisco and not far from the tech-savvy Silicon Valley, the leading hub for high-tech innovation and development. At our TIDE camp, teens experience game/app development, design, and innovation in an inspiring, collegiate setting. TIDE@CSUMB
Camp dates: July 9-20, 2018 (overnight campers check in on July 8 after 4pm, and check out on July 21 by 10am)

Location: CSU Monterey Bay, 100 Campus Center, Seaside, CA 93955
What to expect:
Overnight camp fee: $2,800.00 (Fee covers all transportation, meals, rooms, instruction on- and off- campus, activities, teaching assistants, supplies during the program)
Reserve your space with a nonrefundable application fee $75 and send the registration form to [email protected] now.
Final payment $2,725 due by May 15th.

What to expect:
- Daily 3 meals in the campus Dining Commons is included in the price
- Teams will work together to design and develop a game or app around a specific theme
- Teams will build a business to market this game or app, conduct market validation and make modifications based on what they learned.
- Teams will compete on Friday, July 20th in a shark-tank like competition.
- Each day concludes with various outdoor activities on campus, including bike riding, rope course, and sports.
- Weekend activities at Monterey Bay and Carmel area.
